Yoga for Runners

Sometimes even the fastest runners need to slow down - and NYRR's Yoga for Runners Series with Tanya Boulton can help. The program was designed specially for runners to help improve flexibility and athletic performance. In six-week sessions, students stretch and strengthen the many major running muscle groups, which can prevent joint injuries, as well as improve breath control and focus. Classes focus on restorative, elongating and loosening work while balancing strength, increasing range of motion, and training the body and mind.

Held at the Pure West location of Pure Yoga, these sessions are open to everyone from beginners to seasoned yogis.
